Fair is fair: Squarespace is the better choice if you want full design freedom: designer templates you can reshape, pages laid out exactly as you like, a blog and a real online store. If you enjoy designing, or you sell products, it's built for that.
If you want to design every detail or sell products, choose Squarespace. If you want a professional page shaped for your work, live in minutes, with verified proof and video that doesn't eat your storage, choose ProSeen.

Common questions
Before you switch
Do I have to leave Squarespace?
No. Keep it for what it's good at. ProSeen becomes the destination your other profiles point to.
Is Free really enough to start?
Yes: a real page with starter limits, built so search engines can read it, and listed in the ProSeen directory when it opens on January 1, 2027. When you outgrow it, Plus lifts the content limits and Pro adds the client machinery.
How long does moving from Squarespace take?
About ten minutes. You pick your profession, answer guided questions about your work, and publish. There is nothing to import and nothing to configure.
What happens to my content if I leave?
It's yours. Export is self-service, and deleting your account removes your page. We would rather you could leave easily than feel stuck.
Can I show long showreels without running out of storage?
Yes. Paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link and the video plays on your page without using any of your storage, however long it is. Plus shows up to 6 videos and Pro up to 12, plus a short intro video beside your photo. Only uploaded files count toward storage: 5 GB on Plus and 10 GB on Pro, with uploaded videos up to 60 MB each.
How much can I change the design?
Some, on purpose. You choose an accent color (any color on Plus and Pro), one of five font pairings, how your gallery and testimonials are laid out, the order of the main sections (and which to hide), and the order of items inside each section. There are no themes, custom code or free positioning, so the page stays clear for every visitor. Pro adds up to 5 extra pages built visually from 15 block types. If you want full control of the design, Squarespace is the better fit.
Can I sell products or run a blog?
Not really. ProSeen is a professional page, not an online shop or a blogging platform: there is no shopping cart, and no multi-category blog. You list your services, and on Pro clients can message or book you. If selling products is the point, Squarespace does that well.
