Privacy Policy

ProSeen (proseen.me) helps professionals create a public page built around what they do, and helps other people find them. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the controls you have. We have tried to write it the way we would want to read it: plainly.

The most important thing to understand

A published ProSeen page is public on purpose. When you publish your page, the content you put on it (your name, headline, bio, photo, services, portfolio, credentials, testimonials, location, languages, and the contact details you choose to show) becomes a public webpage that anyone on the internet can visit. That is the product working as intended.

Three consequences of that, stated openly:

1. Search engines index published pages. Google, Bing and other search engines can find and list your page, unless you turn search indexing off in your settings.
2. AI systems can read published pages. We deliberately make public pages readable by third-party search and AI assistants, so that when someone asks an AI tool for a professional like you, your page can be part of the answer. If you prefer not to be indexed, the indexing control above applies to this too.
3. Directory listing and web indexing are separate controls. You can appear in ProSeen's own directory, in outside search engines, in both, or in neither. Each has its own switch in your settings.

Nothing you keep in draft is public. Unpublished drafts are visible only to you.

Information we collect

Account information. Your email address, your sign-in method (email and password, or Google), and your account settings. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google, and nothing else.

Page content. Everything you add to your page. You choose what goes on it, and every contact field (email, phone, WhatsApp, links) has its own visibility setting, so you decide which contact details are public and which stay private.

Usage analytics. We record events such as page views, link clicks and search appearances so that you can see how your page performs and so we can understand how ProSeen is used. These events carry anonymized source information only, such as a referrer domain, a country and a device class. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell this data.

Support communication. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.

What we use information for

To run the service, show you your own analytics, keep accounts secure, send the emails the service needs (verification, password reset, publish confirmation, important notices), respond to support requests, and improve the product. If you opt in to product news, we send it and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

ProSeen runs on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (network, DNS and media storage), and Resend (transactional email). When paid plans launch, a payment provider acting as merchant of record will process payments; ProSeen never sees or stores your card details. Each provider handles data under its own security and privacy commitments.

International transfers

ProSeen is operated from Pakistan and serves professionals worldwide. Our infrastructure providers operate globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We choose established providers with recognized safeguards for international data handling.

How long we keep information

Your account and page exist until you delete them. If you delete your account, your page and personal data are removed from the live service, and residual copies leave our backups on the backup rotation schedule. Anonymized analytics that no longer identify anyone may be retained. Search engines and AI systems may hold cached copies of pages that were public; we cannot delete their caches, though de-indexing follows removal over time.

Your rights and controls

Wherever you live, we give you the same core controls: see your data, export your data in a portable format, correct it, and delete it, all self-service from your settings. You can unpublish your page at any time, which removes it from public view immediately. If your local law (such as the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California) grants you additional rights, we honor those too. For anything you cannot do from settings, contact us and we will help.

Security

Accounts are protected by authenticated sign-in, data access is restricted by row-level security in our database, admin actions are logged, and we keep backups. No internet service can promise perfect security, and we do not, but security is a design requirement here, not an afterthought.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you on the site or by email before the change takes effect.
