Privacy Policy

ProSeen (proseen.me) helps professionals create a public page built around what they do, and helps other people find them. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the controls you have. We have tried to write it the way we would want to read it: plainly.
The most important thing to understand
A published ProSeen page is public on purpose. When you publish your page, the content you put on it (your name, headline, bio, photo, services, portfolio, credentials, testimonials, location, languages, and the contact details you choose to show) becomes a public webpage that anyone on the internet can visit. That is the product working as intended.
Three consequences of that, stated openly:
- Search engines index published pages. Google, Bing and other search engines can find and list your page, unless you turn search indexing off in your settings.
- AI systems can read published pages. We deliberately make public pages readable by third-party search and AI assistants, so that when someone asks an AI tool for a professional like you, your page can be part of the answer. If you prefer not to be indexed, the indexing control above applies to this too.
- Directory listing and web indexing are separate controls. You can appear in ProSeen's own directory, in outside search engines, in both, or in neither. Each has its own switch in your settings.
Nothing you keep in draft is public. Unpublished drafts are visible only to you.
Information we collect
Account information. Your email address, your sign-in method (email and password, or Google), and your account settings. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google, and nothing else.
Page content. Everything you add to your page. You choose what goes on it, and every contact field (email, phone, WhatsApp, links) has its own visibility setting, so you decide which contact details are public and which stay private.
Usage analytics. We record events such as page visits, link clicks and directory appearances so that you can see how your page performs and so we can understand how ProSeen is used. Each event keeps the page, the time, and source details such as the referring site's domain, a country and whether it was a phone or a computer, never an IP address or a visitor ID. To stop one network flooding a page's numbers, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) form of the network address with a counter, removed within a day. Members see totals, not individual visitors. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell this data.
Visits to ProSeen's own pages. We count visits to proseen.me's own pages, such as the home and pricing pages, without cookies: each count keeps only the page, the day, the referring site's domain, any campaign tag in the link and whether it was a phone or a computer, never an IP address or a visitor ID. Outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, if you then create an account in the same browser tab, the source of that first visit (for example Instagram or Google) is saved with your account.
Referral links. If you arrive through a ProSeen partner's or member's referral link, a first-party cookie remembers that link for 90 days, so the referral can be credited if you create an account.
Support communication. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you. To sort out a problem, an authorized ProSeen admin can open a read-only view of your dashboard. They stay signed in as themselves, can't change anything, and every view is recorded with who looked and when; ask us and we'll tell you.
Assessments. If you take one of ProSeen's assessments, we store your answers, your scores, the order the questions came in, how long each one took, and anything you type into it (such as the service you're testing). If you ask for your full report, we also store the email address you give and email the report to it. That address is used only for your report, unless you tick the box for follow-up emails. Then we also keep the exact wording you agreed to and when, and the follow-ups start only after you open the link in your report email, which shows the address is yours. Every follow-up has an unsubscribe link. Your results are private: they open in the browser you took them in, through the links we email you (these stop working after 30 days, except unsubscribe links), in your account if you sign in, and for ProSeen's admins. Nothing from a result goes on your page or on a share link unless you choose it, and a share link shows only your top three areas. We keep your results and email address until you ask us to delete them, and if you delete your ProSeen account we delete them too. To have them deleted sooner, email hello@proseen.me from the address you used.
Messages and bookings. When you send a message to a professional through their page, we store your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the topic, your message and your answers to their questions. When you book a time with them, we store your name, email address, phone number if needed, any note and answers, the time you picked and your time zone. The professional you contacted can see this, and we email the confirmations, reminders and changes it needs. It stays in their account until they or you ask for it to be deleted, or their account is deleted.
Directory alerts. If you ask us to tell you when a matching professional joins the directory, we store your email address, what you searched for, and the wording you agreed to. Each alert ends after a set time, and every alert email has a link to stop them.
AI writing help. When you ask ProSeen to write or improve text for your page, the text you're working on and the page details it needs (such as your profession and services) are sent to Anthropic to write the suggestion. Nothing is sent unless you ask for a suggestion, and nothing it writes goes on your page until you choose it.
What we use information for
To run the service, show you your own analytics, keep accounts secure, send the emails the service needs (verification, password reset, publish confirmation, important notices, and the assessment reports you ask for), respond to support requests, and improve the product. As a member you also receive occasional ProSeen product news; this is stated when you create your account, and you can switch it off at any time in Settings, or with one click from any such email. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
ProSeen runs on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (network, DNS and media storage), Resend (email, including assessment reports and follow-ups) and Anthropic (AI writing help, only when you ask for it). Paid plans are billed by Creem, our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes, receipts and refunds. ProSeen never sees your full card number; we keep only the card brand and last four digits to show in your billing settings. Each provider handles data under its own security and privacy commitments.
International transfers
ProSeen is operated from Pakistan and serves professionals worldwide. Our infrastructure providers operate globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We choose established providers with recognized safeguards for international data handling.
How long we keep information
Your account and page exist until you delete them. If you delete your account, your sign-in and your page are removed from the live service straight away, and your personal data with them. Uploaded files and a few related records are cleaned up right after; if a step can't finish at once, it is retried until it does. Residual copies leave our backups on the backup rotation schedule. Anonymized analytics that no longer identify anyone may be retained. Search engines and AI systems may hold cached copies of pages that were public; we cannot delete their caches, though de-indexing follows removal over time.
Your rights and controls
Wherever you live, we give you the same core controls: see your data, export your data in a portable format, correct it, and delete it, all self-service from your settings. You can unpublish your page at any time, which removes it from public view immediately. If your local law (such as the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California) grants you additional rights, we honor those too. For anything you cannot do from settings, contact us and we will help.
Security
Accounts are protected by authenticated sign-in, data access is restricted by row-level security in our database, admin actions are logged, and we keep backups. No internet service can promise perfect security, and we do not, but security is a design requirement here, not an afterthought.
Cookies
ProSeen uses the storage a login needs, and a cookie that remembers the assessment results you took in your browser. See the Cookie Notice for the short full story.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you on the site or by email before the change takes effect.
