Collect testimonials

Send clients your request link, let them write in their own words, and add their words to your page.

Before you start

  • Plan: every plan can collect testimonials. Free shows 1 testimonial on your page; Plus and Pro show more.
  • A way to reach your client: email, text or any chat app.
  • Your client's agreement before anything appears on your page.

Send your request link

  1. Open your page while you're signed in.
  2. Select Edit on your testimonials section, or Add testimonials if it's empty. The section may be named for your profession; the editor opens as What clients say.
  3. Select Copy your request link. It changes to Link copied.
  4. Paste the link into an email, text or chat to your client.
  5. Send it.

You have one link for your page, and you can send it to every client. They don't need an account to use it.

What your client fills in

  • Your name
  • Role & company (optional)
  • Email (optional, kept private by ProSeen)
  • A one-line summary of their experience, if they want to add one
  • Your words, in their own voice
  • A box confirming their words may appear on your page. They can't send without ticking it.

Then they select Send it over. The form tells them their words go to you first, and that you choose whether they appear.

Add a testimonial a client sent

  1. Open your page while you're signed in.
  2. Select Edit on your testimonials section.
  3. Find the testimonial under Waiting for your yes.
  4. Select Add to page. It moves into your list.
  5. Select Save. It isn't on your page until you save.

Rather not show it? Select Dismiss instead.

Add one yourself

  1. Select Edit on your testimonials section.
  2. Select + Add testimonial.
  3. Fill in Who said it.
  4. Fill in Their title.
  5. Type their words in What they said.
  6. Tick I have permission to publish this, only if the client agreed.
  7. Select Save.

Remove a testimonial

  1. Select Edit on your testimonials section.
  2. Select Remove on that testimonial.
  3. Select Save.

What happens next

  • ProSeen emails you when a testimonial arrives, unless you turned off Messages and bookings emails in Settings, under Notifications.
  • Your page shows as many testimonials as your plan includes, starting from the top of your list.
  • Publish your client's words as they wrote them. AI writing never writes a testimonial.
  • If a client asks you to take their words down, remove the testimonial and save.

If something goes wrong

  • Nothing under Waiting for your yes: ask your client whether they saw Sent. Thank you! after sending.
  • You added it but it's not on your page: open the editor again. If it's back under Waiting for your yes, select Add to page and then Save.
  • One you typed yourself doesn't show: check that I have permission to publish this is ticked. Without it, the testimonial stays in your editor and visitors never see it.
  • Your client sees “Please remove the links from your words”: the form doesn't take links. Ask them to send it without one.
